Hungur Issue 15 Available

I see that issue 15 of Hungur Magazine is now available. The issue features the Scarlet Order vampire story “Dark Matter.”

This story is a bit different as Scarlet Order vampire stories go. Most of the Scarlet Order stories have been set in the past or the present. This one is very much a science fiction story set in the future.

In this story, scientists discover a stellar-sized dark matter body between Earth and Alpha Centauri. They send out a space vessel to investigate. The crew of the vessel have special vehicles that can rove the body. What’s more, the crew can upload their minds directly into these machines, so it’s like they are actually walking on the surface of this exotic world between the stars. However, it turns out the elemental creatures we met in Vampires of the Scarlet Order and Dragon’s Fall: Rise of the Scarlet Order have a secret on this body they don’t want humanity to know. I’ll let you discover the rest in the story.

Also in the issue are stories and poems by Lee Clark Zumpe, Marge Simon, Sandy DeLuca, and Terrie Leigh Relf plus several others. So, there’s lots of good reading here for fans of vampire fiction.

Don’t forget, I also have vampire stories in issues 13 and 6, which you can purchase at the link above.

In the meantime, I want to take a moment and remind you that it’s not too late to enter the Dragon’s Fall: Rise of the Scarlet Order contest over at Jessica Frost’s Blog. Be sure to stop by, read an excerpt from my new novel, and learn how to enter and win the contest.
